Traditional Jalebi & It's Recipe

Jalebi is a traditional Indian sweet that is made from wheat flour, yogurt, and sugar. It is deep-fried and then soaked in a sugar syrup, giving it a unique texture and sweet taste. Here is a recipe for making jalebi at home:

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup yogurt

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yogurt, baking powder, baking soda, and turmeric powder. Mix well to form a smooth batter. Cover the bowl and let it sit for at least 2 hours.

In a separate pan, combine the sugar and water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until it reaches a syrupy consistency.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.

Take a small amount of batter and pour it into a jalebi mold or a squeeze bottle with a small tip. Hold the mold or bottle over the hot oil, and squeeze out the batter in a spiral or circular motion to form the jalebi. Fry for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Repeat this process until all the batter is used up.

Remove the jalebi from the oil and immediately soak them in the sugar syrup for 2-3 minutes.

Remove the jalebi from the syrup and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Serve the jalebi warm and enjoy!

Note: You can add food color of your preference to give more attractive color to the jalebi.

This recipe makes 8-10 jalebi depending on the size of the jalebi.

He made sushi quickly to serve to customers, this type of sushi was called "fast food" sushi which was a big hit ...
